How to Paint on Rocks | Yorkshire Terrier | By L E Holmes


This is a commissioned rock painting of ‘Buddy’, the gorgeous Yorkshire Terrier, that I painted on a natural river rock using acrylic paints, then finished with a thin coat of transparent varnish for protection.

Time taken to paint: 5 hours
Brushes used: Daler Rowney Graduate 5 Brush Synthetic Detail Set:
Paints used: Liquitex Basics Acrylic Paint (48 Tube Set):
Varnish: Ronseal Yacht Varnish
Stone: Natural river rock
